Anyone noticed the vast array of changes at the Lipcrack site besides photos? If you haven’t take a look…<\/p>\n
1. The front page of the site has been redeveloped. I haven’t disliked one of Lipcrack’s front pages since inception and would quite happily revert back to any of them with some updated code adjustments but given the vast amount of killings that are occurring out in the world I had a bit of a calamity crisis. Despite its comic nature which really is tied in with some spoof type movie scripts which are a Bug\/Space Trip, I decided it was time to remove the guns from the front page of the site. I’m sure some ill-intentioned group will find some way to point a figure, create some kind of negative based advertising campaign or completely misinterpret the band, the new site and it’s entertainment value for some kind of self-motivated altruistic cause which discredits Lipcrack but that, as I am aware is how society feeds on its own self-glory.<\/p>\n
Lipcrack still plans to Rock in between everything else.<\/p>\n
2. You’ve probably seen the Blog update, but have you noticed those Post A Job, Job Dashboard and Job’s icons at the bottom of the page? Well, the fact is Lipcrack have plenty of expansion plans and we’ve decided to take a focus in the area’s where we were trained. There will be more news on that later but eventually, we hope to be a credible outlet for business groups who require staff to advertise.<\/p>\n
But we are busy, so it all takes time and money. Currently, any positions we have here would be on a volunteer basis but I do actually have some very interesting incentive propositions sitting on the back burner waiting for the next stage of implementation. At this time, however, its still being assessed on a cost basis.<\/p>\n
I’ve most recently been going back and forward to Administration Hearings in relation to the cancellation of my “welfare benefit” it’s pointless going into all the details other than to say, they’ve tried to prevent it going to hearing every step of the way and it’s been a legal battle. I can only say I find it disappointing particularly in relation to how the employee’s of their business go about their’s with a form of diplomatic immunity that is highly questionable on the legal abuses it is appearing to get away with. Some might say you only need to look at the latest budget to determine who the next lot of victims will be. But that is politics and we all need to be more mindful of how “leaders” operate. That’s all I find it necessary to say at this stage.<\/p>\n
Who Would Like To Know How Mail Out’s Are Going?<\/p>\n
Here’s some good news. After a month of continual analysis and problems, it was determined that there’s a script on the mail server, which while it does allow you to mail, is done under some very strict conditions, to the point that it stops them after about 2 hours. We didn’t know it existed or how it was opperating, only that our lists are clean. It turns out that it operates much like a rigged computer game, e.g. if you push the button in 2 seconds instead of 3, you miss out on the prize. Once the script was determined adjustments were made and mail is going out more smoothly, but there’s room for one last improvement which we will get to.<\/p>\n
What else has been taking up time?<\/p>\n
Believe it or not, Lipcrack has recently gone back into studio mode and is in the process of completing the EP which has been on and off for so long you possibly might have thought it would never get done. The plan is to change that outcome and has in the last few day’s been assessed in terms of workload. It has required some major plan changes which will most likely be mentioned next update. For now, it’s a go ahead as far as Lipcrack are concerned and will most likely take till December.<\/p>\n
There’s more to say, we are aware that there are numerous iPhone and other such “Apple” related devices out there that have trouble accessing tracks, we have updated a range of software which will make providing them in the future an easier task and there will be more information on that as the releases become available.<\/p>\n
