People, are you getting ready to party? Lipcrack just breathed a sigh of relief as the third track on the coming EP was finished. Sure there’s a vocal take that needs to be redone but the hard slog on that track is over and I should be happy to report, I consider it the best of all three tracks so far, but Guitar Man is still my favorite.<\/p>\n

In case you are unaware which track, it was Junk boat. Visions of riverboat cruises might fill your head but you’d be floating upstream without a paddle. It’s a musical trip through that’s for sure by which I mean, I really pulled out some insanity on the guitar work which is all over the place from head bouncing happiness to mind twisting alteria. Those notes you don’t like to hear mashed with deep throaty vocal ejaculations of odd sorts. Did I say that? it’s probably what I was thinking it sounded like.<\/p>\n

If you’d like to experience some of the sounds a few inserts were added to Youtube, they’re Green and are best heard with headphones where amplification is muted :<\/p>\n

Not all those pieces are included but started as a warm up to the track in pre-development.<\/p>\n

Are you looking for more news this month? I can tell you by the end of the track I was really thinking I wouldn’t be able to make it through another three tracks but how I was feeling changed and it became more of a question of just getting through it and possibly never having to do it again. Does that sound like I’m not enjoying it, that isn’t quite true, but it’s mentally a difficult task. And I could already say, if I wasn’t under some time restraint in terms of “survival”, I would have taken a different approach to the task. If I ever do put myself to this type of task, I’d follow the advice I’m currently thinking.<\/p>\n

That said though once it’s complete my whole lifestyle is going to change back to promotion and I’m actually looking forward to that even though in between things, I’ll be obliged to perform Job Hunting and other tasks. Previously I was trying to keep both things running together but it’s close to impossible. Despite what people might believe when you use the Internet to promote music via mailouts and mailing companies it requires just as much concentration as creating a music track but its a different process.<\/p>\n

What else is news? \u00a0Over the next couple of days I’ll be working out which song I’m going to work on next which might actually change from original plans. Only because I want to make sure what goes out there is something that I’m not going to regret doing. Makes sense huh ?<\/p>\n
