Lipcrack have had our fair share of developments since we last put fingers to keypad and typed our hearts out and here’s a brief outline of those matters, <\/p>\n
1. The main guitar work on the last track for the EP has been completed. For me that’s a huge relief. The accompanying guitar work still needs to be done and drums. That’s going to require a bit of think and some experimentation to give it the sound that will suit the overall production of the track. Then it’s back to those final items mentioned in previous updates in terms of the track Oligopoly. I’m fairly optimistic for an end of March finish. <\/p>\n
2. The new front page layout has been decided and isn’t too far of being completed. There will be more information available on this once it goes live on a new hosting service.<\/p>\n
3. Some of you may be aware the process of finding a new hosting company has commenced. It’s not an easy task because there’s a range of items that require compatibility, functionality and reliability to mention a few considerations. To give us hopefully, what will be considered plenty of time to finalize those matters end of April should have this task completed. <\/p>\n
Then it’s time for Lipcrack to take care of a few finalizing matters in terms of writing updates for our various site visitor groups and see what they think about Lipcrack matters.<\/p>\n
There will be a new EP sitting waiting for some promotional efforts along with Label contacting. It should be interesting as usual. Once that’s done Lipcrack will be looking at a range of ways we can focus on some of those genuinely positive endeavors of which there is a backlog of to consider in terms of our own future direction. While Lipcrack do have a range of material in reserves in terms of track development there is no immediate plan to go straight back into recording. In fact I can say with no hesitation there will be at least 1 whole year away from any new track production.<\/p>\n
Most likely we will be spending a fair bit of time contacting industry representatives who’s main involvement will be assessment of any plausible direction that Lipcrack should consider in terms of market reach and product expansion.<\/p>\n
Personally, I can inform you that while tracks have been in production I’ve continued some private research into areas of interest in which I’ve had some very positive and interesting results maybe some of you will pick that up in this years photo shoot range of images. <\/p>\n
Next month we will briefly touch on a subject which many people are pushing for in terms of our web presence which includes subscription only access. We are considered suitable options.<\/p>\n
