Here goes.

Obviously it was back to computer re-installs, two of them and all software back up and running along with new mail out systems. I ended up redoing the black Dell due to not wanting it operating in the cloud system. Lets just say I like my work platform well grounded.

Now given that it had been a little while since I’d been in contact with the hosting company it was back to getting mail out systems running. Went reasonable well, then after about 500 emails out a problem was found with the donation link in the mail out. Resolved fairly quickly but under some very strange matters. Four day’s later however, mail outs were halted by the hosting company with allegations of Spam. I just could not believe it given the amount of time that was put into updating everything so that there would be no issues. Basically the site is allowed to send out 400 an hour.

In the amount of time that was spent sending around about 11,000 emails went out. Then I was hit by the hosting company with an allegation of sending 86000 by their staff which rely on some 3rd party company monitoring things and some site server hosting logs. I could not believe that I was looking at this figure of 86000 and a range of logs that some what proved it.

Meanwhile though, I’d sent through my own tech request regarding why “For the Second Time”, I was receiving a security certificate error on the server. Having worked and advised an internet company on the importance of these certificates way back when the internet was introduced to the Adelaide marketplace, it’s a fairly serious matter. See notes below,

A critical error was encountered during the Let’s Encrypt SSL renewal process.

Account: lipcrack

Action: Failed to fetch installed ssl hosts

Error: Post “https://nw4.*********.com:2087/json-api/cpanel:” http: server gave HTTP response to HTTPS client

By now, I was looking into three issues, a PayPal one, a certificate issue and an alleged spam issue. So from about the 10th of June till the 15th the mail went out and then a password change via the hosting company was issued on the mail out account. I was annoyed about that, it’s the second time. From about the 19th till even today, the matter has been looked into and the account is still halted from sending mail due to the allegations.

Now here’s where it gets interesting though. In the process of research from my end it was determined that when the certificate was updated or changed the mail out program picked it up and responded with a halt, it also had an issue with the certificate issued. Following that it appears as though when the password on the account was changed, their server then tried to deliver the mail by sending it out in over some 3 attempts which ended up causing an overload.

I can tell you we are not responsible for that because we do not write the scripts which run their mail servers. As I’ve said, I was completely surprised when the allegation of some 86000 even came up. But given all the other matters, lets just say the trust in this hosting company has been diminishing to the point where I have maintained for the second time with them, I’m looking into finding a new hosting company. The annoying thing in this matter is they refuse to acknowledge that their system is what caused the 86,000 email by trying to resend mail some 3 times which did not get through when they put 1. A block on the account and 2. Changed the password on the mail account. It seems to have run around in a circle on their service due to the password change.

There are a range of matters from my end because once again, it’s become very evident that moving the site will just cause more time delays and deliberately restrict promotions of Lipcrack tracks. Do you think I should be saying, “I’m okay with that”. I’m not.

Regardless of all that though, there was a really positive outcome from the recent system crash and I’m about to share that with you. Basically I back up data, and over the period of time I’ve had computer crashes, I had backups from around 2009 which included data documents from around 2004 through to 2022, possibly even early if I hunted. Meanwhile I’ve been using the program which lets you compile data in a easy to read structure and I spent the rest of the time compiling all that data.

Any text document of information that was important to me was put into the program which basically creates a book of the information put into it. No I haven’t written a book because it includes documents of information shared with me on some of my interests by other professionals. The thing is though I did compile a year by year list of songs written over that time. Currently for example I can determine, “hmm in 2012 and 2013, currently I don’t have any song lyrics listed there. I do know that in 2011 I opened a Twitter account and just recently downloaded my Tweets. But after that I do have song lyrics written from 2014 to 2022.

So basically I spent the rest of the time in between things correlating all my data into yearly reference points but haven’t actually had time to read it all. Oddly enough a couple of the things I did read, I was surprised by. The mental state you are in when you write something is a very important component of song writing. A couple of them were really funny and others intellectually over my own head at times.

I can inform you that if you do not access the Lipcrack site on https you are not accessing the site as it has been developed to be accessed and these matters are continually having to be over viewed when system errors come through.

In finality I can say this month has been fairly similar to how most people are currently experiencing the range of issues that are facing societies from stand over tactics to unrealistic economic inflation driven by global elitism. If you didn’t think much of this month, lets take a look at how next month unfolds.

See you then,

Lipcrack.

P.S. I should mention the software company that’s mail system is in use via our own processes is currently looking into a range of questions put to them from our end. If anything should come up which would change our determination on the above data, I’ll certainly let you know. But again, they were very adamant it only sends the amount it’s told to, we had 400 which is the hour limit.

P.S.S. We actually had that many things occur this month it was difficult deciding what would go in the Blog update.

Would you like to know what you missed this month!
