So for once Lipcrack are keeping the monthly updates short. Things have been busy and the focus has been on seeing if its possible to develop a new EP.\u00a0 That required going through a range of material written over time which was also catalogued according to genre. I was surprised by the variation in the material which I’m well aware with my vocal range would be very difficult to bring to life in a suitable manner. As I’ve mentioned I could possibly move some of the material on which I am interested in doing and will look into that at an appropriate time.\u00a0 I’ll get moving on that in the next major mail out to various contact groups, most likely with the next track release which I’m looking at either June or July for a release. Those are tracks from a new EP that hasn’t been released.\u00a0 It’s not the one I’m considering developing now.<\/p>\n

I actually thought it was kind of interesting considering most of the gear I’ve done previously I considered kind of Alternative but probably falling into one of those categories generally. It could possibly also be a reflection of how the industry is developing there’s obviously a lot of different styles of music out there and finding your feet in terms of what’s right for you is part of career development. Currently I can walk down the street and see a bill board poster for a band that was producing reggae 40 years ago so peoples tastes are always different.<\/p>\n
For now,\u00a0 looking forward to putting some new music out there and attempting what could possibly be one of Lipcrack’s most outrageous EP’s to come.<\/p>\n
