Well obviously the post that’s just been re posted some few weeks after it’s original posting had to be done due to some of the issues that came up with the web host that we’ve just spent three weeks with. (See Last Post Update).<\/p>\n

The reason we know of is because the database did not link up with posts and when an export of the WordPress Blog\u00a0 was recently imported onto this current service\u00a0it was full of secondary posts from other\u00a0sources. So Lipcrack were not too happy with many of the things that occurred there however at this stage I don’t think we can say, “oh the next service is going to be great”, until it is.<\/p>\n

Currently some of the many issues that come up with hosting online are eventuating. I’m not going to go into it. The site has just been moved again. We are going to see if the wrinkles can be ironed out so to speak and are currently in that process before implementing Security on the site because it’s pointless if the backbone mechanisms have been configured incorrectly or inappropriately in relation to how sites hosted opperate. As per the Twitter updates that has been established to some extent and installing the site on the new service was filled with as many technical difficulties including some that are now becoming evident in terms of the Blog which required a shift from the old site initially rather than a\u00a0new install which I currently consider it may need.\u00a0<\/p>\n

While I would like to say it should have occurred at a quicker pace than it has, it hasn’t and I can tell you a person setting up a new site would get it done quicker than it takes to shift a site when problems come up as new problems will undoubtedly occur within the new hosting system.<\/div>\n

Currently my best advice to you is, if your thinking of building a business online despite all the hype, don’t unless you are your own hosting company because they undoubtedly will only make problems for you latter, it may take one year or two but I can guarantee you they will slowly start to occur even when you have a “standard” system of back end process because they’re run by humans and humans are prone to human error and selective bias particularly in international waters. I could expand in a thesis on this matter however realistically the purpose of the site is to reach a Music Loving and Buying audience that don’t want to hear about all the hassles that go on in the background.\u00a0<\/div>\n
