Waiting for an Authorized Review which is fairly close to the expiry date of the month’s time they have to make it and absolutely disgusted with what’s gone on since going back on welfare and going through the process of getting a new Job Network, which I still don’t have for dubious reasons on their part. If I was out on my own given what’s currently taken place, I’d be homeless by now. And I gather that suits their Social Services program’s better, never mind that I’ve applied for more than the amount of work positions required. I currently do not have one incoming cent. I’m disgusted. I also have a new Doctors referral to the Dental Hospital in relation to that unresolved matter.<\/p>\n
That is gear I don’t even want to refer to in the Lipcrack Blog because it has nothing to do with Lipcrack Music other than perhaps showing an example of how dirty things can get when any form of business competes in a market place which attempts to restrict the market to some extent. That’s obviously a wide speculation but not without grounds.<\/p>\n
So what of this month ? I’ve been busy tidying up on a lot of loose ends, keeping the computers current in terms of functions, gear that’s just needed to be done and done before anything else could be decided upon. And I’ve had to make some serious decisions.<\/p>\n
1. I am awaiting the outcome of all the hold ups in relation to my unemployment benefit, I stopped looking for work after the last payment didn’t come through. I haven’t read a news paper for weeks because I haven’t had time. I just haven’t stopped getting ready for some type of change in relation to all of the above. That hasn’t occurred.<\/p>\n
Do you want to know what I’ve decided in the meantime ?
\nBasically its get all the priorities out the way, which includes legal follow up on the Dental matter and the last hospital visit with inappropriate redirects. That actually is taking place in between a larger priority which I’m getting too. I’m going to look at following up with Legal Aid because people aren’t providing information on written request. I wonder if that’s just going to be another dead end tax payer money wrought.\u00a0Possibly a bit harsh but it’s fairly obvious when services only server one group.<\/p>\n
The larger priority which should start in the next two weeks, is get moving on a new EP. I am still going to attempt it. And I say attempt because regardless of everything if it doesn’t come to you while in the studio ….it doesn’t happen. You can’t make it happen, the flow, the dynamics, the mood, the whole environment including mental status needs to be conducive. Currently I can tell you for a fact it’s not because of all the above. And if that’s how people operate to affect someone’s working ability….well I can say South Australian welfare services make me sick. I don’t want to elaborate on that.<\/p>\n
Do I think things will go well once I get started?, (plan is within the next two weeks), I have no idea!, I’m hoping a bit of good attitude without any consideration to a situation which is totally inconsiderate given that the State has it’s own television network which you’d think it would sponsor developing artists other than the “oh woe’s me” crap that they program week after week and I know because I hear it coming from the lounge room where my parents sit obsessed in front of the TV. Sure there’s some “programs to assist artists”, most of those are available after the product is finished. I’ve never used their service.<\/p>\n
I’m aware the tracks I plan to develop are old material the music won’t be. For me it’s easier to develop a track that I know how the beat goes to the lyrics rather than anything else. It’s how I’ve always done it. I’m actually feeling in a good mood about it because it’s taken so long to get a lot of other gear going on around me at a point where my focus can be directed at one thing without too many other “issues\/problems” interfering.<\/p>\n
It wasn’t really my priority after my last job assessment but given that I don’t have a cent coming in via “unemployment benefit”, can’t make phone calls for work, can’t catch buses to town for appointments and all those other things that unemployment benefit goes towards in relation to the “Job Market”. I just decided Stuff It then.<\/p>\n
So that is the news for this month, I’ve been working 24\/7 these last two weeks to get to a point where I can get back to the EP within the next two weeks. I had my birthday a couple of days ago October the 23rd. Always a good time to celebrate and I think if there’s still Lipcrackers out there, they’ll be celebrating with me.<\/p>\n
