You might have noticed the Blog has changed shape, it’s morphing like everything else around\u00a0here including how people live and behave on the planet….Planet Lipcrack.
\nJust having a joke with the readers when in actual fact things are quite serious.<\/p>\n

As I may have mentioned, Track Releases can come with their fair share of difficulties
\nand Cracked Up certainly is having a few. I decided to do things a little different and that
\ncan cause problems in itself, however, it was only so slight and a few\u00a0first run mail outs went out to check new systems that have recently been updated.<\/p>\n
Those Being:
\n1. The Mail Program that sends out mail.
\n2. The inclusion of a new system that monitors Lipcrack’s site visitors.<\/p>\n
Here’s How Things Went: Current Status:<\/em><\/strong> The software company is nonresponsive to technical support requests. Some of what I was informed indicated that “they’re going to fix something which most likely isn’t\u00a0broken” which is my initial thought and also confirmed after subsequent checks via other applications.<\/p>\n That doesn’t mean it’s a bad program, there are language barriers to some extent along with cultural differences in the ways in which business is done. So much for woman’s liberation\u00a0huh? That is also subtle humor, I have been unable to speak with a technician but people who claim they speak for the technicians.\u00a0“Yes, one of those types of countries, no second guesses, you’ll probably get it right the first time.”<\/p>\n Current Outcome<\/em>:<\/strong> The mail program works well, sends out mail and currently does everything it is required to. In fact, it does more than it needs to like many programs you buy on the\u00a0web. We are happy with it and aware that programs can be affected by other services on the\u00a0Internet. If that is the case it has not been determined as yet.<\/p>\n 2. Site visitor checks were initially surprising. The basics which were easy to determine\u00a0gave Lipcrack a positive outlook for visitors that return for updates. Once you start getting\u00a0further into interpreting the data, however, the issues came up.<\/p>\n I’m not going to run through all of those, we know the site is being visited by way too\u00a0many bot’s which can make interpreting real visitors difficult. We will do something about\u00a0that in the future with some code inserts but not right now.<\/p>\n The issues which did come up were possible site access problems. That is still being checked and was to some extent confirmed by link checks no longer being active. At that stage, it was time to check in with the hosting company.<\/p>\n 3. Web Hosting, currently, there appears to be some hosting issues believe it or not. FTP access for updating\u00a0files on the server indicated initial password problems, that’s a typical error but there’s\u00a0something else going on.<\/p>\n I’m waiting on further information and checks currently taking place in relation to matters. All I can say for now is, although a few of my long-standing VIP’s on the mail out list were\u00a0updated first, currently, none of the main lists have been mailed. The checks were very necessary.<\/p>\n It’s not bad news, What Lipcrack are doing in this process is making sure that pages don’t\u00a0go missing (Which has occurred recently), site visitors can actually access the site and\u00a0a range of other gear which you just wouldn’t think is necessary, but actually is.<\/p>\n In the meantime, while this takes place feel welcome to enjoy a new look Blog site. Not sure\u00a0how long it will remain in place, it’s also being tested, photos are no longer on the front page\u00a0but hidden in the depths of the site. The color does not reflect any movement associations, I just\u00a0like it and might go green next. There are also plans for a site entrance change but that will\u00a0depend on a couple of matters also being looked into.
\n<\/strong>1. The mail program which initially sent back working link checks soon returned not working\u00a0results.<\/p>\n
\nMost likely that will arrive as soon as the Blog is updated, making all of this outdated news. That’s how fast the web moves remember?<\/p>\n
