Update Time!
And what a month it’s been. I have been blissfully blowing my head away on some of the exotic sounds that come with new creations, kind of like the Big Bang theory, we’re still here to make some noise.
The Guitarman Track really is a guitar track and is close to completion possibly a week and a half away. It’s running close to the time but obviously, the 68-page hearing document that was prepared in relation to my “Suspension/cancellation of Welfare Payments” in the first two weeks of this month ate up a lot of time and was quite frustrating. I’m not going to go into it in terms of what is required in a legal hearing but it ate up about 12 hours a day preparing it and as I have been informed, in some of these scenarios the amount of time you have can quite conveniently be less than required and leads to case dismissals. It was submitted on time.
If you’re on a Recording Contract, well the legalities of those can be just as hazardous to your health because like most contracts out there in this highly legalized paperwork world, anything that runs over time starts costing you … More money.
And I can say that being off welfare which has now actually become more of a situation of harassment by those parties involved in the various “Work for Dole type programs” has cost me a lot in terms of all aspects of what everyone else just considers everyday living. To explain it, how do you pay for shampoo? toothpaste? all those everyday items that people take for granted, meanwhile most of them complaining about how much they’re having to pay for electricity and mortgage rates.
These people seem to have no idea what it is to experience that type of outcome in a place they call “one of the best to live in the world”. I kind of wonder how they came up with that grand statement, perhaps it’s actually been the cause of many of the problems that come with it. e.g displacement.
Who want’s to hear me go on about my problems? All I know is I really want to get this thing finished and have something which I can go out there and present to the market place and hopefully bring in a bit of spare change. Did I mention Lipcrack will be looking to tour in 2018 if not, well I just did, so if you know of some Venues that could do with a live performance, start spreading the word.
Mailing systems are working again but it’s just been very difficult to coordinate both work loads and before I had to get job hunting in as well, I actually believe that approaching those venues is part of that process but the Welfare system seems to have a blind eye turned to anything but “Work for the Dole programs’. Convenient huh ?

Things have been going nicely at You Tube although I will mention this, if you leave a comment it could take up to a month for it to be verified, no I’m not censoring them, most of them have been Spam and You Tube has a very good process in place for keeping things functional. When I get time to log in, I get a chance to read your comments before they go live so it’s fun.
