A Day In The Life

Posted on September 20, 2011September 20, 2011 By Alena

Well isn’t this interesting, just started on the paperwork pile that had been building up since I entered Uni and lookie…..lookie what we have here….after spending time on the phone to the tax department this week determining why I hadn’t as yet recieved my “notice of assessment” from 2010….and of course after starting Uni….had every Government Department on my back, just opened a letter from July detailing that I needed to send in a copy of my personal income tax return from Centerlink despite the fact that they already had it….in order to receive the study benefit.

So every department
Centerlink
Austudy
The Tax Department and to some extent
The University in the Northern Territory basically have tried to run a number….which for those of you who don’t know that lingo….means…

Tried to interfere with the process of study.

So currently without having to explain it word for word why I’m on intermission, I’m getting this years tax paperwork together…..and making sure they don’t have an excuse to stop paying the benefit next year.

Obviously people don’t necessarily want you to hear that…..but it’s a fine example of being locked out the system, even when they have all your paperwork.

The following document has been included because I like ostriches, who wouldn’t they have rich in their name.

..and by the way I spell Center  =er > re
