Here it is ! Something I think everyone was wondering if it would ever arrive. An update! No were not hiding in a dark corner unhappy with how things are going with the new track, were actually getting down with the Mushrooms. Finding good mic’s for them can be difficult.
That said Lipcrack hope those of you who have already experienced No Sorry’s are enjoying the track and those of you who are still as important but are on a list somewhere in our mail role out will be enjoying it soon.
I have to tell you while Australian radio took an interest in the track their overall follow up to our request for advertising rates was non existent, simple as that. Obviously that does not make the process as easy or cost effective as it could be. But don’t despair, we’re not and as always there’s more work to be done, other leads to follow and calls to be made.
Those radio stations that did follow up with us, you will receive something in the mail and we appreciate the effort they made to respond.
Managers….Managers….Managers…..who wouldn’t want to manage what is going to be one of the most outrageously good times band’s to hit the streets since “Good Time’s” became a way of life….very few it seems, …all we can say is you have no passion for life if you have no desire to experience it and Lipcrack have offered it on a silver platter…. Those who have touched base with us, we shall continue to keep you updated with a higher priority status once we have completed current tasks.
And there are still many more Industry Representatives in various departments still awaiting contact as we come dangerously close to the mail out limit for this month. It doesn’t mean mail will stop it just means that regional data will be difficult to asses. I could go on with “the business new’s”, I could be more specific, I could be more general. All I really want to say is for those Lipcracker’s out there still awaiting contact and access to our tracks including updates we are doing all we can to reach you with our music.
Now possibly the most important news in terms of the tracks on the EP, which hasn’t been named as yet and still to be released. …. believe it or not….two titles have come to mind which are serious contenders, those being “Blast Off” and “Blow me Away”…..yes they are totally ridiculous but not as ridiculous as our current plan to “maybe” have a competition for aspiring artists out there to develop the cover and a prize to be offered for the cover art which is selected. So people get your “Thinking Cap’s” on. Further tracks will not be released until all aspects of contacting labels (still to be done), along with a range of other necessary paperwork steps are completed.
It will be a long wait, but when Lipcrack bring you that next dose of musical art form that takes you to that place only “Lipcrackers” can reach, you are going to be in manic sound bliss.
