So how time flies when your not having fun!
Anyone notice my somewhat flat humor in the last two updates. It might come as no surprise, it’s difficult to know someone only through written word because it doesn’t display emotion.
If I said, “I’m sitting here in tears as I write this” that would at least add an element sadness but if it were misinterpreted I could actually be sitting here laughing so much I’m crying. It’s actually something I’ve maintained in my Internet publishing’s. “It’s best not to put too much emphasis on any one thing”. Which is all I’m going to say in one of my monthly ramblings.
Music News
I’m actually sitting here quite normal, somewhat placid and semi-clam despite a emotional whirl wind of up’s and downs in life generally. You don’t want to know everything I can tell you that right now.
The good news from my perspective is that first track of what I hope will be a completed new EP some half year from now is finished and will be going into final mix down over the next couple of days.
Obviously I’ll be starting on the next track as soon as that is done.
Briefly there might be some collaborations of Lipcrack with other artists in the future however I don’t know that it’s a certainty. But it’s worth mentioning generally.
Information Update on Mailings.
This is most likely going to be the last update on this for some time. Yes there were some bounce backs and there will continue to be as lists are cleaned, people change email addresses and other common Internet occurrences.
Yes we did determine that some of the email’s were not reaching mail boxes due to incorrect mail server settings at “the other end”. And Yes we are aware that currently all over the world there are Censorship issues in relation to email getting to peoples in boxes.
What we have done to comply with the current host company is move the mail outs to an organization which allows mail outs via there servers and maintains a very effective watch of bounces and registers “Complaints” should they receive them.
It will be put to test in the following week as Lipcrack finalize settings and correspondence with the various companies. As you can imagine the more efficiently the site is run the less it costs and as things are that is the best policy.
