Well Like Wow ! Wipe out !
I’m hoping at least some of you have noticed Lipcrack’s unexplained absence over the last two months. I can tell you this, we were as taken by surprise by it as possibly many of you were.
Obviously it commenced close to the new track release and the promotional special which followed. I can tell you the promotional special is on hold until our next update in July. That is going to give us some time to deal with all the crazy things that occurred in the last two months.
Here’s a brief run down.
1. First the hosting company cited irreconcilable differences and pulled the plug on hosting the site with two days or something similar to shift it.
2. The main computer that is used for Internet type activities seized up leaving one computer to manage the whole Lipcrack System of Organization. That didn’t go well initially and in the process the whole computer had to be reformatted. That did go well. Following that all files had to be recovered and put into a new system of process. That also went well and has been completed.
3. Following that a new hosting company needed to be found. That is in the process of being finalized as this update goes to air.
That briefly is what has occurred in the last two months.
Other things that came to light prior to the site going down was the fact that our subscribers to the Blog were not getting updated. I can tell you in the following weeks despite all the other tasks that are currently on hold while the site goes live again, the matter of subscribers getting updates is going to be one of the first priorities.
Obviously I could go on about everything that has and currently is still occurring in relation to a few deceptive practices by a number of organizations that have some anciliory roll in the process of Lipcrack being online but for now it’s a short update to :
1. Bring the site back to life.
2. Let people know what’s occurred.
3. To let you know the site promotional will occur in July in relation to the new track release. It may be slightly different, that will also be looked at in the following month.
