Greetings Blog Viewers are we all well? Good news, I came out the end of the three months minus welfare support with some general improvement in home health, not easily done these days without paying work or a huge bank loan. There’s still small finishing touches to be done here and there but not huge day after day consumption of time with no reward.
Let’s face it we all like to be rewarded for the efforts we make on a daily basis but the world has long been limiting a percentage of the population. I don’t want to go on about this on the Lipcrack site because once again, it’s really only a space for music releases. Those which once again are very much on a stand still.
I am back on social welfare and I will say while off it, I also dedicated a considerable amount of time to assessing my skills, education and job opportunities in the work place. I put together what I consider are good options in terms of further studies to broaden work opportunities, all the while thinking, I really want to get another EP out. You know I don’t mind up skilling but what’s occurring in terms of Job Network Agencies in my opinion is:
1. My skills are not even being recognized and
2. Whenever I go to make some change to improve my work opportunities I get cut off of welfare. Just not appropriate.
As it is, things haven’t been going too smoothly in terms of changing Job Networks since recommencing and I have moved to taking the last matter through the Review process which may see it end up in an Administrative Appeal. I consider it wasn’t appropriate under the circumstances.
Gear I would just rather not talk about.
I do have one good piece of news, I’m not sure if I’ve mentioned it, I might have actually said something that goes counter to this news but I’ve decided on the track to be release from the Blow Me Away EP in the new year.
More on that later.
Another important recognition that took place while assessing job opportunities while off welfare was that Lipcrack the site which includes two movie scripts, countless unreleased songs, a shop with stock that’s not listed, a back end email promotions company and various easy to incorporate side business operations currently not detailed on the site but listed as possible future business considerations is way too big for one person to manage. I think I’ve mentioned that numerous times. So in between tasks another plan on the table is to draw up a business prospectus and put it out in the marketplace for sale.
I can’t believe I’ve said that….More on that later, I will say that different items will be able to be purchased separately e.g. I know there’s some interest in the scripts and I know there’s some interest in the email marketing business. But I will say this again. There will be more Lipcrack tracks unless I say, die tomorrow. (There’s still two EP’s there though). And the process will be open to offers of interest.
That is an overview of the many things that took place while not receiving welfare.
I’m not sure if that all sounds ominous realistically it’s good news.
