Well its the end of the year and I for one am happy it’s coming to an end. Realistically it hasn’t been any different from any other year in terms of the problems that have been faced with hosting a site that’s know for it’s artistic edge as well as distinctly advanced technologies in the computing world. It’s been able to pinpoint the various different issues which come with hosting a web site on line that often boil down to competition in the market place and different interest groups with often competing agendas. Sometimes it’s just as simple as someone wanting to slow down market growth but can end up looking like administration taking larger shares of company profits.
The process of running operations is currently still stalled for system checks which have been absolutely necessary in terms of data checks secured from our end . I don’t believe it will take that long to get to the bottom of current matters which recently have led to Administration requesting a new password on the account which is also being checked. The technical representative has also needed to request further information in relation to checks and while in his own words to some extent could only hazard at a “Guess” into the site security certificate issue, is however giving it the serious check attention that it requires which is taking a little while. I will point out it’s the only thing his “Guessed” because most likely it’s the only thing that took him by surprise.
I don’t want to be updating this information in the Blog as I’ve said before but in the first few months of hosting with the new service it gives people an indication of what hosting a web site online can amount to.
The good news I’ve been holding onto is rescheduled for next year. We do have some improvements in operations planned oddly enough it comes at a time when I’m considering how many more tracks Lipcrack are planning to develop. Obviously there’s no point over doing something that realistically was created for a period of musical experimentation. I’m well aware that the good tracks will always have a market in terms of reach but it’s never been my plan to develop track after track after track just for the sake of it. Music has to be good or it doesn’t have a market.
So again Good News, this year is coming to an end. Personally it has continued to be draining in so many areas of my life. From the compulsory “Job Hunting”, which I’m happy to do but at the same time am aware the back end operations from the people administering it to the politics that create the laws that run it all amounting to a scenario which is driving third world policies into the heart of the country as it has done in so many others.
I could go on for hours about my discontent. But again I really do not want to end this year in some kind of negative wind up. Mentally I’ve had a great year because I’ve always done my best in everything I’ve set my mind to doing which has been a lot, from the new start up vegetable garden out back to the other hobby areas of business growth that Lipcrack are moving into (see you don’t know everything), it’s been successful. What I’m saying hasn’t been successful are the economic policies running this country in terms of fairness across the board. (See that negativity creeping in ?).
Anyway it’s the end of the year, for many it means Good Cheer and I certainly am all for that. So to everyone that made this year an absolute blast for Lipcrack from the generous gifts to the support in all those things we like to get involved “We Certainly Thank You All”.
For those of you that participated in “The Special” with new subscriber subscriptions to the Blog, I can tell you we are currently looking into some fairly obvious hosting issues in relation to that process. But don’t fear if you subscribed and received a copy of the track for sale to friends we will honor our deal. If you are still trying to sign up there will be a new deal in 2016 which will be as much fun and will be more secure in terms of legitimate sign up’s. That’s something else set for re-evaluation in terms of the Blog hacks which we know are occurring and are sure there’s a fix for.
So Everyone Have a Safe and Wonderful Christmas and New Year. We’ll see you in 2016 when we start a new EP and release a new track.
Many Happy Returns to You All.
Lipcrack
What’s life without a bit of Christmas Glitter.
