A Day In The Life

Posted on January 13, 2017January 13, 2017 By Alena

Around

It’s 2017, the New Year’s Eve party rolled in and for some it rolled out just as soon as it arrived. Let’s face it I’d like to know if I’m the only person who’s New Year has kicked in with a big fizzle of a time ?

Sure I’m one of the best Merry Makers I know but big fact is, I can’t name too many events that are in my life currently that don’t stink of oppression, stand over tactics and down right bias hypocritical political views. All the web abounds with messages of the 2017 Recession. Anyone else feeling it?

Lipcrack the band’s music has been on stand still since the last EP was created. For the most part that’s came about due to changes in policy. Realistically policy that curtains local business development doesn’t seem to be local policy but unless you are political you get stomped on. That’s what’s going on…

But it’s not just going on locally it’s going Online which means everywhere, anyway you turn there’s a political stomp going on….
I’m going to give you a brief run down of the year so far….

1. Last year unemployment benefit was cancelled twice. No, not because I’m earning over the threshold. Because Policy has it’s own agenda.
The Administration Appeal on that is in March which felt a long way off.

2. My Health in terms of a personal injury that occurred in a dental practice is still an ongoing matter which the politics of has not improved even though further avenues have been explored. Realistically all I’ve seen from it so far is more potential exploits from organizations that get donations to represent people then provide every reason why they can’t represent you.

3. Generally I actually feel quite physically healthy but I know there’s times when emotionally ….you would not want to know.

This is really not the kind of gear I want to be updating in my online blog but it needs to be said in relation to how 2017’s started out……

So the New Year So Far…

Centrelink payments were restored a week before Christmas or some time close to that. Today I received a letter informing me they’d been cancelled again for not going to a Job Network appointment with an organization which I have not appointed as my Job Network Agency. Efforts were made to change from that organization however both Centrelink and the new Job Network maintain they can have nothing to do with that. I have a problem with that.

If you walk into McDonald’s and you don’t like the food or service, you are not forced to go back there. I had been informed by numerous representatives that if I went off the payment I could resign up with a different agency and the information was misleading. It will be interesting to see what the Administration put in writing in relation to that when it’s questioned.

A lot will be questioned and I can inform you of this Good news, I won’t be having anything to do with any of them ever again because I won’t be wasting my time. Which generally is all it has been previously as the outcomes are quite rigged with the intention of it going into the Federal Courts but as far as I am aware last time I checked very few people had successful cases.

Realistically all these matters seem to have a certain amount of political bias. That’s my opinion.

From Bad to Worse – Well Thursday 5th of January my computer crashed. Not the new one that crashed a month ago which had to be reinstalled and reformatted, fortunately before the warranty expired so all software could be utilized with no repurchases. This one I’ve been working on since around 2009. Generally that’s a pretty good shelf life on a computer. It crashed in 2014 and I’ve spent the last eight day’s getting it up and running again. There’s been a multitude of unexpected errors even though disc checks have come back as verified “good”.

I’m not going into the specifics of each error that’s been worked around including a corrupted driver on the install disc….just gear that generally you wouldn’t expect. I have documented a setup procedure for quick reference it’s more concise than last time but fact is you can’t determine what might occur differently on subsequent installs.

Important thing to note – currently due to technical hiccup’s I’m at the point of determining if it would be best to reboot it again. It may have reached its shelf life limit, (the computer hard drive checks are fine) but I will maintain when computer companies have an agenda its fairly much the same type of scenario as political ones I’m currently making an independent assessment in terms of it’s functionality. XP was actually discontinued in terms of service in 2014. System logs of the crash indicate a variety of service crashes so possibly a hack of system .

So do you want the Good News ?

1. I don’t have any other than at least 90% of data was recovered from the computer crash with great difficulty. Nothing essential was lost.

2. There’s still plans for a track release in March, that’s also when the Appeal is. Paperwork needs to be attended to first so if the track is late that’s just how events panned out.

3. For those who collect Lipcrack’s photo series there’s a new update.

4. For those who Follow me on Twitter and access my quality stock photo updates ….that’s where all the action happens. (Seeing is believing).

5. In between it all there are plans for a photo update for 2017.
This has been documented in a moment when all functions of the computer are operating. I don’t use the new one for online purposes it’s just too risky.
I am hoping that by the next update all systems that keep Lipcrack Site functioning and ready for further development are up and running. The Security Certificate has been renewed for the site.
If it’s about time we all started having a more enjoyable 2017 I couldn’t wish it upon Lipcrackers at a better or worse time for that matter. I just hope we all pull through for a better year.

That’s it for now….see you next month, the new track was going well, it’s currently on hold till the computer currently in assessment for usage and reinstall is finalized. That should not be longer than two weeks.

By for now…
