People are calling out for change everywhere so Lipcrack decided to engage the idea to the best of our limited ability. We are not a Fortune 500 Company that can drop millions on executive pays or huge shop frontage overhauls every time we’d like to sell items to the web community, but we are seemingly to become our own boutique range of services, which we’re quite happy about.
So what did we do this month?
Take a look here and meet The Gemini Twins. Two new computers which have over that period of time been overhauled, reconfigured and adapted to suit a role in Lipcrack’s core business base – Mail Promotions.

By chance, I saw them going out on sale an offer was made, did a significant specifications check and took a risk because as a smaller unit your not guaranteed it’s going to run programs without difficulties. The first one took an extended period of frustrating time to get running as required and the second, couldn’t be happier. They are now both ready to run as mail servers to the variety of customer bases we Plug Into.
In fact, if we were running at a profit I could now afford to hire two people to run separate mail promotions. Realistically it also gives us room for diversity in the type of promotions and for whom we can run them which is a part of our overall room for growth strategy.
Of course, I’d like to put out another EP and most likely will. Then though! It will possibly be time to start looking at developing tracks for other artists. Or possibly selling to another business which would like to move in that direction.
So Why The Gemini Twins?
No reason other than they’re the most common twin I’m familiar with and as they came in a surprise identical package, it’s a name that’s stuck and seems quite friendly for them. Someone else might call them Gemini 1 and Gemini 2 or separate sub names, I’d be happy with that.
I suggest if you have an interest which aligns with Lipcrack and the tasks we currently do, to consider how you think you could become involved with our very independent operations.
What else is news this month?
SSL or secure socket layer technology was updated for another year to provide not only a secure site visit but also secure shopping in terms of credit card purchases. It’s a task that requires checking because given the dynamics of the web, the range of browsers and all other such matters, sometimes it’s just not possible to get a check across everything which is the preferred scenario. Once again, for the most part, things have gone well in regards to that, although a few checks are still occurring.
Other than that its back to mail outs which have been on hold for about a month, which they don’t have to be because the main Lipcrack Machine (which has recently had its keypad replaced, and was long overdue, done in-house, my first laptop keyboard replacement) usually does that task. It was just decided when The Gemini Twins offer presented itself that it would be a good way to displace that task so that The Lipcrack Machine, could become more freely functional again.
Fact is if you have two problems come up on one machine its more difficult to resolve than individual problems on separate machines, which is what we currently believe due to experience. That said though individual tasks won’t commence until mail software licenses are updated. That will occur sometime soon.
That’s it, you’ve been updated on the going’s on of Lipcrack, which doesn’t really divulge a lot of my own personal problems, I still have a few that I’m working through and a good honest lawyer would be a great help, that’s been a difficult personal task and I wouldn’t like to say the systems rigged like that, but it seems highly likely.
Have a great month if you are not having one already, look forward to hearing from us in the future and have a great day.
Lipcrack
