Well here it is September and I fairly sure we have a few readers sitting on the back fence waiting to hear if the last track was completed, Good News, it was on Wednesday the 8th, which was very close to the timing scheduled Lipcrack have been trying to adhere to. I’m not going to go into great details about the track, there was another update made available on You Tube from Don’t You? :
That gives listeners a small taste of it’s musical direction. When it’s release I’m sure there will be more information provided on all tracks. I probably only need to say that once, we do want our listeners to have some insight into the creational thoughts, experiences and happenings which brought many a track to life.
So What Of Now?
On September 14th production work began on the the new track “Fade Away”. Once again it was a case of “how am I going to get this track to translate from how I hear it in my head, to something that people can listen too?”. It really is not as simple as it seems and I doubt many people think it’s simple at all. As it is, I had to spend some 9 odd hours getting an amplification mix which brought out tones, increased volume and would work with the various instruments that are going to used in the final mix of the track. Currently only one of those has been finalized, it’s a good start and at this stage so early into things, its going well. You can catch a small sample of it here :
The Rest of September.
It’s actually been a manic month so far. Great news, one of the major software companies we utilize for developing tracks had their yearly sale. I’ve mentioned it before, it’s not something to be missed. Recently we’ve participated every year because it’s been so good. This year they provided a range of free products which can be selected each time a sales figure is reached. I actually have a range of items still sitting there to be finalized. And of course to be downloaded. Currently that’s being juggled between the 2 computers so that things run effectively. I have mentioned some of the problems and reboots that were needed along the way. I’m fairly sure when this EP is completed the computer its being developed on will be reassessed in terms of what will work best for the long term regardless of what occurs.

I haven’t had my Covid injection just yet, we all know they’re important, I’m sure I’ll make time soon enough, from what I’ve heard in some places they’re not even allowing people to attend concerts unless they have had one. Will Lipcrack ever perform live? Who knows? We will make sure we’ve had them by then if we do.
