October is here and it’s an early update for Lipcrack but it’s important to let people know we will be experiencing a server update via our hosting company on October 20th and in the event you experience any down time visiting the site, which we doubt you will, that is the reason.
Now what of this months happenings?
You might recall I mentioned there were problems removing the back of the computer for upgrades, there were two planned, Ram and an additional storage device added. After another attempt and further analysis of the matter Ram was updated. This was only due to the slot being in a position where it could be installed by carefully lifting the lid to a bend ratio that would prevent it snapping off the machine basically. It’s made a great improvement and is running well. It did however provide more time to assess the matter and possibly it’s just one of those odd experiences that are meant to make your day more of a hassle than it should be. Or it’s some really targeted action that would cause a lot of unnecessary money spending to resolve the matter. As it is, I had a number of back up plans to keep the development of the EP moving which were put into action and it does mean we can now follow up with the computer company. There was a doorway left to do this and we’ve explored all number of practical solutions.
Fade Away was completed on October 10th and here is another take from the track. The following song to be developed is still under consideration and will be commenced next Tuesday 19th. I have a fairly good idea which one it will be but it’s not finalized at this time.
Other than that things are incredibly busy as usual in terms of all commitments and in light of government regulations which are obviously impacting the music industry sector in all manner of ways. These must continually be assessed and re-assessed. The Covid19 virus has had a very big impact on it and I’m fairly sure will continue to have for some time yet.
