Just about the end of February and what a month it’s been for Lipcrack. As per our last update it was time to get moving on site updates. The previous html editor was made redundant some time ago, given that one had been purchased in the meantime due to this type of problem it was time to read the Manuel and learn how to operate it. Possibly I should mention programmers have made all kinds of updates in terms of how web pages can be developed and many people are aware they can use something like a social media page or they can learn about coding. The program purchased actually defined a new approach to web page development.
Coding updates keep functional processes moving. For example most of the forms you fill in on web pages need more than html language to operate. I was also aware that only a few visitors were downloading the font to give it the effect that was being presented in terms of the overall site presentation.
What you see now at https://www.lipcrack.com was the result of considering all range of matters that will and do come up in terms of future updates. I went with a basic black and white front page but have to admit was wanting to include some updating in the color range, those updates have been kept separate for mailing list contacts.
I did mention that the forum was going to be added to the front page and now this can be done simply by a coding update. That should occur in the near future and it is now being assessed in terms of if the forum should also be updated.
The Mobile Access page was updated in terms of size fit for hand held devices and Data News was made more readable in terms of one fixed font. I’m fairly sure people recognise that different devices in the technology market have different practical uses and getting all data to suit all devices can actually be quite difficult. Currently because the sites main usage is for releasing mp3 tracks, the focus is on keeping that practical for visitors.
The Good Gear.
Currently the plan is to release the new track next month some time on the current catalogue page as it is, however over time I’m sure that will be updated possibly to something even more practical. There are going to be a couple of interesting offers made to our audience as a part of that release and it will be included in the next blog update.
Little Bits and Pieces.
The photo shoot didn’t happen, the reason, it took a month with a lot of 12 hour days put in learning the new program for the current site updates. I didn’t want to over extend myself for all range of reasons including health. March is looking like the most suitable time and probably will only include 10 photos for the year with a back to normal commencing in 2023. That’s the plan and hopefully will eventuate. The one included this month is one that was on the scrap heap but still proved useful.
The legal conditions page was also updated.
Currently the plan is to keep the new site main page for at least the next three years with some potential inclusions like a video screen as appropriate, this is so that other tasks can be focused on. More than likely by that time the market place and coding developments will have changed again.
And that’s about it, it’s a long update, there was plenty more but time is already short so see you next month with a new track update.
