So finally a moment in time and space for a new track release from Lipcrack.
Seriously, I know some of you thought the moment would never arrive and while I knew it would, it came with more complications, upsets and general run of the mill interruptions that we all know exist.
Here’s a brief run down of the month just to give you an idea of matters that had to be attended to in that time.
1. Being held to ransom for $129 by Dell technicians for something that quickly falls into the legal ethics box. Basically a request glitch for re validating the computer which prevented access to the computer unless it was paid. In the end, I decided to just reformat the computer and reinstall everything. It took a considerable amount of time to get done but it was a choice that worked out well and no fee required.
2. The site shop platform had some issues and backed up files wouldn’t open for the shop to be updated. That was complicated by the update process for the shop to function. As that stands that has also been reinstalled and in the following weeks will be updated to include the new track release. The backed up files did not work in the platform prior to the computer reformat. Those issues are fairly common with computers and updates so it’s probably not news to anyone who updates shops on-line.
3. Platforms that are utilized to create Lipcrack tracks were somewhat rendered useless so a range of new platforms were tested and I’ve decided on one to develop the next EP when ever that will occur. At this stage though the complexity of the new platform is waiting to be learnt and I’m looking forward to putting some time aside to do that.
4. Financial documents that are utilized for keeping accounts on costs associated with a variety of business activities were investigated due to discrepancies in the paperwork. While the outcome on that matter appears to be in keeping with our own records on the matter it is having to be be monitored carefully due to those discrepancies.
5. The last major one, and there have been numerous others is my health. In my spare time, of which there’s very little, I research the matter and it’s still outstanding in terms of getting back to the Doctors for further follow ups. I have actually substantially recovered from an inflammation issue but there is a matter which causes significant discomfort. I have been informed I need to get to a Physio, that’s still outstanding.
6. When new code provided by one of the e commerce providers was installed in the site while the site shop errors were under consideration a range of matters, including it not working needed to be checked. The outcome of that was to not use the code and requires further monitoring across those platforms.
Now I’m fairly sure a percentage of you have skipped some of those details and dropped to the bottom line to hear the track. Well guess what? That comes with no strings attached except maybe the Guitar ones. Hopefully you have equipment that hasn’t been made redundant and can access it with no issues, if you have the latest equipment I’m sure you will have a blast.

And if you’d like some more good news, Lipcracks website hosting has been extended for another year. That is despite the fact that it has more than doubled in price in that time. If you are considering going solo on line consider this. And don’t forget those “major players” in the business work well together in terms of for-filling those objectives.

PS. In between things in the next month, I am planning on reformatting the Windows 10 machine. It is for testing purposes and should not affect Lipcracks general day to day activities on any great level now that the XP is back and completely functional. It should improve operational standards and efficiencies and will give us an opportunity to take a look at any differences between the two operating platforms in terms of a range of matters.
