Happy End of Year everyone, it’s been an eventful month for the close of 2022 and as people on our mailing list are well aware, Rock Bottom the second track from the EP, The Unknown has been released.

Obviously that’s our big news for the month and will be for some time to come as we expand our listening audience. All current mail out’s were completed due to continual cleaning of lists and it was a surprise to have the task finished in a month. There were a couple of mail out problems and unfortunately a backup saw the wrong version of the mail send go out at times but it didn’t stop people coming back for a listen which obviously was a great joy for Lipcrack. Growing a listening audience is possibly the most important task we set out to achieve.
I’ve enclosed a small screen capture of our site analytics which gives people an idea of how visitor numbers increased over the month.
There were a range of other tasks going on while that was occurring and I’m going to mention those briefly.
Project Management
I found a project management software application that was tested. It’s an old program and most of those applications now run from online servers where you are required to join and utilise the program once you have logged in. I’m still a big fan of using software on the desktop of the computer I’m using so it was a real find. I’ve included a small screen capture to provide people with a look at how it can be used in Lipcrack’s task management.
Email List Management
Lipcrack have spent a fair amount of time on email management and making sure we can find new customers. A few of the applications that are in place were put to the test and that’s running reasonably smoothly. What we haven’t done is dedicated to the task as yet. Which brings us to 2023. That possibly is going to become the central focus of all tasks that will occur in the new year.
End of Year Cheer!
I haven’t really mentioned a lot about the track Rock Bottom but Lipcrack know that it makes a great addition to people’s playlists so we’re hoping a few of you do it in time to celebrate Christmas and the year passing. Lipcrack have had a reasonable year but like most, COVID and the Russo-Ukrainian War have had a big impact this year even if it’s just down to considering how people are affected by matters on a day to day basis.
All I can say is, I hope people have a safe Christmas and bring in 2023 with the best intentions for a peaceful and inflation free year for us all. It possibly won’t happen, but it sure would be a great start to the year. See you all next year with our first ever survey for mailing lists and look forward to being responsive in terms of what our site visitors want and look forward too.
